What do laces on a football, a dolphin, a Super Bowl ring, and a crazy pet detective all have in common? Ace Ventura - that’s what! This kooky pet detective is an iconic character that you’d have a hard time forgetting, no matter how hard you try!
All-righty then! This Ace Ventura Costume is pretty eccentric, so you better have the wacky personality to back it up. Start rehearsing your Jim Carrey facial expressions in the mirror because contorting your face is going to take major practice. Plus, you don't want to look like a 'loo-hoo-ser-her" at the party so let the Jim Carrey rehearsals begin. Chances are, there's not a kidnapped Bottlenose Dolphin to be found, but there's always a neighborhood dog missing! Find Fido...pronto!
Design & Details
This Ace Ventura costume contains everything you need to get the party started as this iconic character. The Ace Ventura look starts with the eccentric button-down shirt. The shirt also has a pocket on the front left side. The pants have an elastic waistband for a comfortable fit, but it also has three belt loops to house the faux leather belt with gold buckle. You won’t have to go to a hair stylist this Halloween because this costume comes with a synthetic brown wig that’s styled just like Ace Ventura’s hair in the hilarious movie. Add a fun toy parrot and you’ll be ready for a night on the town and crime solving - just beware of any ex-football players who may be out to get you!

Size LargeCostume is decent. The pants and shirt are good but the wig really needed some work. Ended up trimming it and styling it and it looked good when I first put it in but I found that I should have secured it better to my head as it kept slipping around all night long and I had to keep fixing it.
I added my own touches - I bought black boots, a mini parrot, and some sunglasses and a white tank to complete the outfit.
People knew who I was and I appreciated that - all and all it was a hit but you’ll certainly need to spend some time with the wig or else the costume will look very half baked.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

Height 5'6 | Weight 126 | Size X-SmallI wore an XS, which fit perfectly as a woman, knowing this costume was meant for men, but omg the responses and reactions I received were awesome!!! Great costume. Sizing was good. I am 5'11 and 165 lbs w/ a 32 waist and 40 chest. The medium fit me perfect. Height 6’ | Weight 220 | Size X-LargeGood costume! Pants look great and will stretch over other pants if you need. The shirt is good, but it’s 100% polyester and can’t be machine washed but that’s normal. The belt is comically small. I’m a 38 waist and I couldn’t make the ends touch. The wig looks terrible. They kind of shaped it, but it’s cheap AF. Size LargeThe belt is not even close to fitting around a grown man. Really need to lengthen the belt as the sizes go up. Other than that my hubby loves the shirt and pants! the costume was great, size was a little big but just about expected. fabric is costume quality. The belt was way too small but just used another belt I had. The wig was a little funny in that the sides kind of stuck out too wide, and after a couple of wears the flip in the front was coming undone. This costume went over well on Halloween, It's the right fit other than the belt which was too small, but otherwise it was outstanding.
